DESIGN & BUILD

Limen Construction prides itself on its construction and buildability knowledge bank and as such we consider we are able to bring constructive answers to design and build projects including designing up to a target cost, rather than cutting cost to meet a budget.

Examples of our work include:

  1. The design and construction of a passenger canopy at Custom House, Docklands Light Railway Station. We were required to recreate the design of an existing canopy with the constraints of a fixed event as an end date and a contract period that only allowed two predetermined weekend shutdowns to achieve the erection of the steelwork and installation of the bi curved glass cladding. These constraints meant that the design had to truly incorporate buildability. We duly consider the end date would not have been achieved without the close integration of our management team, the design team. and our specialist subcontractors.
  2. The design and construction of a 5400sq ft 5 bedroom dwelling. We liased closely with the client to incorporate all the facets that made up his dream home whilst not setting aside construction detail.
